| We practice the fine art of orthodontics because you matter. |
| |
Doctors Quinn and Mariotti have been in practice together since 1984. For over twenty years they were also the Staff
Orthodontists for the Cleft Palate Program based at Mercy Hospital. Over the twenty years that the clinic was in operation,
they were responsible for the treatment of hundreds of children with cleft lip and /or cleft palate. They feel that it is
a privilege and a pleasure to provide quality care to their patients. To be intimately involved in the growth and development,
along with the improvement in self worth and confidence of patients is a gift.
A new development in orthodontics is the Invisalign Technique,
a revolutionary new way to straighten teeth, without braces.
Invisalign uses a series of nearly undetectable aligners instead
of brackets and wires. Because there are no metal wires and
brackets, Invisalign is invisible. The aligners are easy to
wear and can be removed to brush and floss.
After an initial examination, the orthodontist decides if
the patient is a candidate for Invisalign. Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology,
the doctors instructions are translated into a series of precisely
customized aligners.
The patient wears each set of aligners for about two weeks,
moving the teeth gradually week by week, millimeter by millimeter
until the intended result straighten teeth is achieved. Generally
the patient visits the orthodontist about every 6 weeks. Dr.
Quinn and Mariotti were among the first orthodontists in Northeastern
Pennsylvania to be trained by Invisalign and have treated
many satisfied patients with the Invisalign technique.
Both doctors have a mission statement to provide the very
best treatment for their patients at a reasonable fee. Together
they have forty years of experience in creating beautiful
smiles. They feel strongly about being available to their
patients at all times and both doctors love their work and
the positive effect they have on the lives of their patients.
Both doctors like to ski and play golf. Fortunately for their
patients they are better orthodontists than golfers.
