2004 both doctors were re-certified
As of May 2007, there were 10,794 orthodontists practicing in the United States and Canada.
Of that number, 3,450 are Board Certified.
Of the 3,450 certified orthodontists, 154 have been re-certified by the American Board of Orthodontists.
Of the 154, re-certified orthodontists, 10 practice in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Quinn and Dr. Mariotti are 2 of the 10, and the only re-certified orthodontists in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Dr. Mariotti became
President of the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists
Dr. Mariotti became President of the Middle Atlantic Society
of Orthodontists in October of 2004. The Middle Atlantic
Society is comprised of the orthodontists in Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, Maryland, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

Dr. Quinn elected President of AAO Foundation
In May of 2002, Dr. Quinn was elected President of the American
Association of Orthodontist Foundation. Dr. Quinn will serve
as president for the year 2003-2004.

Dr. Mariotti serves on Board of Directors of The Middle
Atlantic Society
Dr. Mariotti presently serves on the Board of Directors of
The Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. The Board is
involved in the promoting and placing of all continuing education
meetings for the orthodontists in New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Delaware, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Dr. Quinn appointed to AAOF Board of Directors
Dr. Quinn was recently appointed to the American Association
of Orthodontists Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Quinn
will represent the orthodontists from New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
The Foundation awards grants to orthodontic programs to promote
research and development, and to University programs to encourage
faculty development.

New office in Dingmans' Ferry opened
Because we have had a great number of patients driving from
the Milford area as well as New York and New Jersey, we have
opened an office in Dingmans' Ferry. We are looking forward
to seeing the people who have waited for us to come to the
area.

Dr. Quinn & Dr. Mariotti Recertified
In 2003 Dr. Quinn and in 2004 Dr. Mariotti became the first orthodontists in
Northeastern Pennsylvania to successfully complete the requirement for
recertification by the American Board of Orthodontists. Of the 440
orthodontists in Pennsylvania, 7 have been recertified.

Dr. Todd Angelo joins practice as new associate
In April of 2007 Dr. Todd Angelo joined our practice as our new associate.
We have brought Dr. Angelo into our practice so that we can continue to offer
you excellent service in a timely manner.
Dr. Angelo is originally from Pittsburgh and did his undergraduate dental
training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he
graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. He completed his residency in June of 2004.
We spent considerable time looking for the right candidate to join our
practice and we feel that Dr. Angelo will be an excellent addition to our practice.
Please help us welcome him to our area.
He and his wife, Sara, will be living in Hawley, PA.

Dr. Quinn becomes consultant to ABO
In 2007 Dr. Quinn was chosen by the American Board of Orthodontists to be
a consultant to the Board. Dr. Quinn was chosen along with Dr. Joseph
Persichetti , a former faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania to
represent the Middle Atlantic Region of the American Association of Orthodontists.
The Middle Atlantic section includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington,
D.C., Maryland and Puerto Rico. Dr. Quinn will travel to St. Louis once a year to
evaluate cares presented to the American Board from the United States and of candidates
from around the world.
